Wholeheartedly agree, Peter! I've just recently visited my comments on Whose Role and noticed you've tagged me for a m-m-m-meme! *laughing* Not that I'm averse, there are so many frivolous memes which can take up much time. But for books, I'll be more than happy to participate; perhaps sometime today. Again, I apologize for my late response, Peter. Thank you! Petra :))
No rush. In fact, I'm feeling a bit abashed for tagging people as opposed to posting my list and inviting all who read it to submit their own.
Buy more books? Here's a comment section full of suggestions. Since it's a sci-fi author's blog the recommendations tilt toward that genre, but hey, there are some good books in there. I strongly recommend Cory Doctorow's Little Brother, which is mentioned several times.
Thanks. I'll browse that list. And Little Brother looks like a book for our time, though the American economic meltdown may be trumping the American security crackdown in the minds of many readers these days.
